Canada industry minister to meet CEOs of Teck and Anglo American Canadian Industry Minister Melanie Joly on Tuesday said she would be meeting the CEOs of Anglo American and Teck Resources next week to discuss their proposed merger. "There have been conversations with the companies, and clearly we wanted to make sure that there would be a net benefit to Canada," she told reporters ahead of a regular cabinet meeting. Anglo-Teck announced earlier this month a $53 billion merger, one of the biggest in recent years.
